Whole fish · non-stick · hardwood handleThe Fish Basket
Whole fish. One flip.
Stays in one piece.
Fish sticks to the grate and falls apart the second you try to turn it. The Fish Basket holds it whole, so you flip the basket, not the fish.

Why the Fish Basket
Your catch. In one piece.
You did the hard yards on the water. Don’t lose half of it to the grill plate.
Holds it whole
The fish-shaped basket closes around the whole fish, so it can’t break apart when you turn it.
Won’t stick
Non-stick coating, so the skin stays on the fish, not on the grate.
One flip
Turn the basket from the handle. No spatula, no hoping for the best.
Boat ramp to campfire
The long hardwood handle works on the barbie, the grate or over the fire.
Spatula vs the basket
Spatulas had a good run.
Same fish, same barbie. Here’s what changes when the basket does the turning.
| At the barbie | Fish Basket | Spatula |
|---|---|---|
| Fish breaking apart | Held whole | Usually |
| Skin sticking to the grate | Non-stick | Often |
| Turning it | Flip the basket | Hope for the best |
| Herbs and lemon staying put | Held in | Falling through |
| A hand free for a drink | Yes | Not really |
How it works
Stuff. Close. Flip.
-
01
Load it up
Lay a whole fish in the basket, stuffed with lemon and herbs if you like.
-
02
Close it
Close the basket around the fish so it’s held snug.
-
03
Flip and serve
Turn the basket from the handle halfway through, then lift the fish off whole.
At the boat ramp
Whole fish. Still whole.
Fish sticks to the grate and falls apart the second you turn it. Close the basket and flip the lot from the handle.

Questions? Fair enough.
How big is it?
The basket is 58cm long including the handle, 14cm wide and 2.5cm deep. Check it against your catch.
Will the fish stick?
It’s non-stick coated. A light brush of oil before it goes on helps too.
Will it fit my BBQ?
At 14cm wide it sits on most grills and campfire grates.
How do I clean it?
Once it’s cooled down, wash it in warm soapy water and dry it straight away. Skip the steel wool: it’s non-stick.
What if I don’t like it?
You’ve got 30 days. If it doesn’t suit your barbie, get in touch and we’ll sort a refund.
