Terms of Service

30 Oct 2026 · @Chris

These terms apply when you use snagrack.com.au or buy from us. By placing an order or using the site, you agree to them.

Snag Rack ("we", "us") is an online-only BBQ gear store based in Queensland, Australia. We have no shopfront or phone line. For anything, email hello@snagrack.com.

These terms sit alongside our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy. Nothing in them limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Orders, pricing and payment

  • Prices are in Australian dollars. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
  • Product details. We describe and photograph products as accurately as we can. Lifestyle photos show the product in use; food, props and settings aren't included. Dimensions are approximate.
  • Placing an order. Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we dispatch it. You'll get an order confirmation email when you check out, and a shipping email when it's on its way.
  • If we can't fill an order (an item is out of stock, or a price or description was clearly wrong), we'll email you and refund anything you've paid in full. We won't charge you a corrected price without your OK.
  • Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify's secure payment providers, including Shop Pay. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Discount codes apply only to the orders and products they're issued for, can't be swapped for cash, and one code applies per order unless we say otherwise.
  • Cancelling. Email us as soon as possible. If your order hasn't been dispatched, we'll cancel it and refund you in full. If it has, our 30-day money-back guarantee applies instead.

Shipping, returns and warranty

  • Shipping: delivery times, costs and lost or damaged parcels are covered in our Shipping Policy.
  • Returns and refunds: our 30-day money-back guarantee and 12-month warranty against defects are set out in our Refund Policy.
  • Your consumer rights: our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Our guarantee and warranty are extra to those rights, not instead of them.

Using our products safely

Our racks and baskets go on hot grills and campfires, so they get hot too.

  • Use tongs, gloves or the handle. Never grab the metal while it's on or just off the heat.
  • Hardwood handles aren't fireproof. Keep them clear of direct flame and out of the fire.
  • Keep kids and pets clear of the BBQ while you cook.
  • Follow the care instructions on the product page: hand wash, dry, and no steel wool or abrasive scourers on non-stick coatings.
  • Cook food through. Sausages and mince need 71°C in the centre and poultry 75°C. A racked snag still needs checking.
  • Don't use a product that's bent, broken or flaking. Email us instead; it may be covered by the warranty.

We're not responsible for injury or damage caused by using a product in a way it isn't designed for, or by ignoring these instructions. This doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Using the website

  • Accounts. If you create an account, keep your login to yourself. You're responsible for orders placed through it.
  • Fair use. Don't misuse the site: no hacking, scraping, bots, fraudulent orders, or anything unlawful. We can cancel orders or close accounts that do.
  • Availability. We try to keep the site running and accurate, but it may sometimes be down, slow or contain errors. We can change or remove products and content at any time.
  • Links to other sites are for convenience. We're not responsible for their content.
